CNN - With another pricey Alzheimer’s disease treatment expected to receive an approval decision soon, the nonprofit Alzheimer’s Association has published the final version of its new diagnostic criteria for the disease. (I’m of the opinion of profit-driven greed and also believe the Alz. Assoc. has become too unwieldy.)

McKnight’s - The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced Monday that it will begin posting certain nursing home ownership information, as well as aggregated MDS data for all residents at a facility, both for the first time, and issue new guides for consumers, on the Care Compare website. With the Chevron ruling, you have to wonder how long this necessary oversight will last.
