Wisdom, the worldโs oldest known wild bird, returned to her nest on Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge to meet and care for her week-old chick. At an approximate age of 74, the legendary queen of seabirds is estimated to have produced 50-60 eggs and as many as 30 chicks that fledged in her lifetime, according to local staff.
