You have read enough from me about Sage Stream, the Senior Entertainment and Education Network. I have self-funded this venture so far but now is the time I am reaching out for help. As I travel to my District’s Rotary Clubs and interact with members who are in the health profession, it is encouraging to me that they get the concept right off the bat and want to see it implemented. I am also encouraged by some of the conversations I have had with people who are involved with Medicare Advantage programs. When I speak to them about social prescribing, they get it as well (be it they are still working on addressing social determinants of health and are a year away from embracing social prescribing!). We also have several senior living organizations wanting to see more.
The problem is we cannot show them more until we build our platform.
We have a proven concept. Just ask Alisa Tagg, Association Director for NAAP.
We are addressing a key societal issue - senior isolation.
We have a great value proposition - high-caliber international roster of artists; key gerontology affiliations; a laser focus on how the arts impact brain health; and a strong intergenerational component. Oh yes, we are highly affordable.
We have major press and endorsers but we have been stuck in limbo with our ability to build the platform.
