Welcome the Freezer Farm Band to Sage Stream. They are a ‘come together ensemble’ of brain scientists, analysts and technologists with a common interest – mental health. They are lifelong fans and practitioners of the art of music and the mind. They make music as part of the Lieber Institute for Brain Development located on the Johns Hopkins Medicine Campus, Baltimore, Maryland. Their band features an eclectic array of cover songs and originals that will take you back and forth in time and space and occasionally to the other side. They are grateful for the opportunity to connect and evolve through music, just like the brain does. Band leader Rahul and I have been having monthly calls to discuss the intersection of Sage Stream’s entertainment and education offerings with cognitive health and brain science.
