Featured Artist of the Week - Johnny Blair

Toured with the Monkees; Hailed by Brian Wilson

“Singer at Large” Johnny J. Blair has been playing music professionally since the 1980s, having toured internationally, released many recordings, and worked with major artists. However, over the years, one of his joys is to perform for the residents in assisted living homes.

Says Brian Wilson - “Johnny is a virtuoso.”

“I’ve played the Royal Albert Hall, Disney, Las Vegas, cruise ships, temples in India, and little places all over the world, but there’s something special about playing for our ‘seasoned citizens.’”

He has been a sideman/touring musician for The Monkees, Davy Jones (solo), Al Stewart ("Year of the Cat"), and other notables. He has also performed &/or recorded with John Bechdel (Killing Joke, Ministry), David Cassidy, Ron Dante (Archies, Cher), Mike Garson (David Bowie), Prairie Prince (Tubes, Todd Rundgren) and more.
